Rediscover Jesus: Day 1

I highlighted two points from today's reading:

1. Ignoring things doesn't make them go away.

2. God is always waiting on us.

I think these are connected. Sometimes, I might (without intention) ignore God by not spending enough time with him in prayer. I might ignore that something is weighing on my heart. And yet, he waits. He always waits. Sometimes he waits until we feel ready, and other times, he pulls me into a new experience at the moment I least expect it or at the moment I feel least prepared for it. Talk about a whirlwind! That's where I'm at right now. Thank you...? I am not sure how to approach this new experience he's throwing my way. How do I overcome my fears? How do I know if this is what he wants from me? I am asking God to help me face these questions head on instead of ignoring them.

Prayer: Lord, don't let me make you wait any longer.
